Dr. Botrous has more than 15 years of water and wastewater research and design experience. He joined ECO:LOGIC in 2005 after spending two years as a consultant engineer in Kansas and six years as a post-graduate research engineer in IHE-Netherlands and in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he also earned his Ph.D. in environmental engineering.
Akram enjoys travelling and feels that good environmental engineering requires honesty, integrity and transparency. In today’s climate of increasing government regulation and public cries for information, the commitment for high-quality work—work that reflects ECO:LOGIC’s core values—is the difference between good projects and excellent projects. Akram believes that good work can not only satisfy the needs of many groups but it can also make a difference in the lives of the people and the environment in which they live.
