Chief Hydrogeologist

Dale Bugenig is responsible for providing hyrdogeological support in ECO:LOGIC-designed groundwater projects. He holds a master's degree in hydrology and hydrogeology and a bachelor’s degree in geology. Combining these two disciplines is critical to developing a conceptual framework for groundwater movement. "You can't separate the ground from the water and expect to have a real picture of how water moves," says Dale. His contributions to the company’s engineering work are critical elements of sound design and successful projects that ECO:LOGIC is known for.

His commitment to water runs deeper than his work. Dale enjoys fly fishing and flat-water kayaking. He is also avid cyclist, often riding his bike through the freezing Reno winters to get to the office. Dale’s interest in geology started at a young age, fostered by the family well-drilling businesses. In these formative years, he learned to appreciate the formations, soils and waterways that make up the great western landscape.
