Dr. Robert Emerick is among the most recognized permitting and engineering specialists in California. His expertise is considered to be so complete that he teaches courses on wastewater permitting and design for the State Water Quality Control Board, the regulatory agency that issues permits in California. He earned his Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from U.C. Davis where he also completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Sharing his knowledge is an integral part of Bob’s passion for his field. In addition to a prolific writing career for respected journals and technical guides, he is a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the Western United States. He is a noted researcher who takes time to mentor others.
